Noël Chase came to pilates serendipitously, through a friendship with a co-worker being certified in the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning in 1998. Through this association, Noel began studying with Janice Dulak. Feeling the profound effects of pilates, Noël became a Certified Instructor in 2001. In 2007 Noël became a Level IV Romana's Pilates Instructor and in 2008, she became a Level III Romana's Pilates Senior Instructor Trainer - enabling her to instruct teachers-in-training. Athletics have played a huge role in Noël's life: competitive swimming, mountain biking, field sports, adventure. She brings her passion for physical movement and her love of the method to her work. Noël continues to learn and deepen her understanding from Romana’s Pilates Master Instructor Trainers: the late Romana Kryzanowska, Sari Mejio-Santos, Cynthia Lochard, Juanita Lopez, Anthony Rabara, Janice Dulak, Lori Coleman-Brown, Roxanne Richards-Huang, Marjorie Oron, Rebecca Leone, and Jerome Weinberg.“A body freed from nervous tension and over-fatigue is the ideal shelter provided by nature for housing a well-balanced mind that is always fully capable of successfully meeting all of the complex problems of modern living.” –Joseph Pilates
A lifelong academic, Diane Musumeci discovered pilates as a way to introduce the joy of movement into her life and create a balance of physical and intellectual activity. Years of private lessons and mat classes fueled her desire to share what she was learning with others, especially those who, like her, may have never thought of themselves as ‘athletic.’ In 2011, after over 600 hours of Romana’s Pilates apprenticeship training, Diane became a Level 5 Certified Instructor. She combines her love of pilates with her passion for teaching to meet the specific needs of each individual client. Whatever your initial level of fitness, Diane is committed to helping you develop the body confidence needed to meet your personal goals. Thanks to pilates, Diane’s life now also includes running marathons, skydiving, and downhill and x-country skiing.
